Eh actually it was better before the OCs came back to 307. Frankly 3x 302 and 1x307 is quite normal nowadays

yes!! i agree totally! the OCs are screwing up 307 big time..every trip also late...when the MANs were doing 307 only weekends jialat, now weekdays also jialat, and weekend got worse!!

and yes! that situation is very normal!!

yup, my friend who lives along svc 307 route also complaining about it, in fact 307 seems ok for yew tee but upon teck whye area is getting slower and late.

Well, 307 Yee Tee sector have 307P (Not very useful, but better than nothing). 979 can also be easily extended to loop at Sungei Kadut

I expect 118 to have very high loading durimg peak hrs. Even Hg/Skg/Yis/Sbw/Wdl/Tpw got new connection to TP/ITE/CBP alr liao.
Hope they will deploy majority DDs with good frequencys too. :-)

Quite disappointed that 979 almost duplicate 302... I expected it to serve more roads in Yew Tee that do not have services today.

What they have done is tried to cover the most populous areas in YT town. Will also provide some relief to 302... I am sure YT residents are finally going to be happy with new service.. Those near CCK6/st54 can walk to Woodlands Rd for 960/961/170/178 to BPJ MRT.

Straight to Street 52.. so the stadium side is not convered by 979. Quite a disappointing route considering Street 52 has 302 already that has close to full bendy deployment... whereas Street 53 and Street 54 will continue to be only be served by 307 rigids

Those near st 54 can walk to Woodlands Road to take 170/178/960/961... see many people alight at take the road from WDL road to CCK North 6. 5 min walking distance. We need to understand that 302 will serve CCK while 979 will serve BPJ MRT.

I would have preferred if 979 was extended to BBT/Bukit Gambok instead.

no choice lor...hopefully they improve 307 also...this service is seriously getting from bad to worse...too many people take the bus already... bus bunching is no longer a new thing...and after that, enjoy the good 15-20 mins wait... if on a weekend, the wait can extend to 30 mins..

307 is doing quite ok.. 302 bendies are packed to door back to back... 307 rigids get 50-60 pax... bunching is an issue because of traffic/congestion around cck ave 4.

I think 118 will have uni-directional loading compared to 168/969 that have high loading in both directions.

Maybe good to have alternate DDs go off-service via Changi Biz Park PIE exit and go quickly back to Punggol to start next trip.

full trip 35-40 min per direction with 8-9 buses in the fleet. Heard full fleet DD

Hi mr sbs6750E, expect heavy drop in premium private bus services to CBP. Services 593 and 744 will definitely see drop as they serve Punggol during peak hours. Other estates (sengkang/Ang mo kio/yishun/yio Chu Kang/woodlands/sembawang/pasir ris/tampines) already have private buses to CBP at peak hours only. Cheers. Thanks.

Seems like Senthul crescent / Sumang walk getting feeder service in future since bus stops are up.

Hi mr SBS2652G, thanks. Oh my goodness, sbs 117 and sbs 118 serve same few stops in Punggol. Cheers for those living near soo teck LRT. All others need do a simple transfer at Punggol bus interchange.
