Is there any ways to get approval from both parties' parents
approval from online to real relationships?
Hi Rip1992,
Please do pardon me if I am wrong; I assume that you are 17
years old this year. To be truthful to you, it will be very
difficult for many parents to accept that their child has another
half at this age, regardless of whether they met online or in real
life.
A lot will depend on the mindset of your parents and the mindset
of your potential other half's parents. If you are to proceed with
the relationship, you may have to expect the parents of your other
half, especially if she is a girl, to lash out fiercely at you.
Putting the mindsets of the parents aside, another very
important factor will be how you present yourself to your potential
other half's parents, and what is your parents' image of him/her.
If you are able to present yourself well, their mental image of you
may gradually change overtime, and accept you as their child's
other half.
Cheers.
