It will be better if you ask the respective companies directly if they charge interests for unpaid fees.

I asked M1 and this is what they replied

We wish to inform you that we do not impose surcharge for late payments.
Nevertheless, you may wish to note that your M1 account will be
subjected to further collection activities if we do not receive the
payment in due course.

Hi Rayne87,

For the first part, it means that they will not charge you for late payments.

For the second part, it means that they will subject you to further collection activities though, if they do not receive payment from you soon.

Collection activities refer to sending letters, making calls to your home, and ultimately, going to your house to look for you.

about the sending letters, does sending "small claim court letter" counts? this is the one i' am worried about, i dunno what to do if i ever get one

Sending such a letter will be considered a collection activity. But as to whether they will do that or not, I am sorry to say that I have no answer to it.
