Sounds like you have really bad encounters with old people. Some are irritating the younger generations, this I don't deny. Good eg is some old folks taking advantage that they are old so they have the right to jump queue. When this happen, I will not hesitate to get them to queue up. Unless they are so sickly and cannot stand for long then I don't mind them jump queue.

On the whole, most old people are doing fine.

yeah, most are fine. just that there are plenty of bad eggs out there, who are really affected by years of propaganda from the government.

e.g. when you talk about supporting the opposition, they will tell you be careful, that pap might track you down and affect your career/business wadever. which is so =.-.....

e.g. 2. bearing in mind 1st world countries like australia, usa, uk etc, when you mentioned that these countries are much better to live in than singapore, they would somehow go off tangent by telling you how fortunate you are to live in singapore, blah blah blah blah, and not in some 3rd world country like cambodia, indonesia etc..... even more ironic is that some of these people have not even step out once beyond the shores of singapore. they simply operate on a different set of frequency from the younger generations...

i am irritated by the younger gen. Seeing they had easier access to many things that were harder to came by back then. Much less discipline in them and behave like punks. Generally shittier human beings than older ones
