hello, serious leh......my parents are really intent and
forceful about this.....you won't know what i mean unless you're in
my shoes.
if they buy tickets and force me, and i insist, then will make
the relationship sour, which i try to avoid.
the problem is........for some people, they only find their
loved ones at 27, 28 or later mah.....got significant number of
people meet their true love after 30 nowadays.........kNN.....and
parents say cannot wait until so long.
i may be the first guy in SG 21st century modern history to
encounter this kind of barbaric act.
You are willing to risk the innocent girl's happiness with your
"get married but not really marry the girl" scheme?
Your intentions are good, I know.
But don't drag an innocent party into your situation.
The other option I can suggest to you is to get a friend who is
a girl, who will willingly pretend to be our girlfriend.
If parents pressure you to get married, say your "girlfriend"
doesn't want to because of studies, career, fear of commitment or
whatever.
This is still better than screwing up some young foreign bride's
life.
