leave art alone. like seriously, who cares abt failing art? i failed it too and it didnt matter at all.

as for math and chinese, if u can afford it, get a tutor to help. if not practice more. u will need to help urself by spending more time and effort on them. go to your teachers when in doubt. never be afraid to ask(: because no matter what, you will need to take them in upper sec.

Hi im back again with the mid year results. Just to tell u guys how i did..

English: 55/100

Chinese: 59/100

Maths: 29.5/80

Science: 55/100

Art: 61/100

Home econs: 74/100

Literature: 48/100

History: 36/60

Dunno if i did any better but I worked kinda hard for this results..

good improvements! Well clearly, your math is still bad but its no longer f9 yeah? and your home econs is consistently good - maybe that's an avenue to explore? You choose your stream this yr right? choose wisely!

LOL U frm what school?

U seem to excel in English and Home Econs. (I am also a Sec 2 student if I am not wrong u should be express but then ur english standard above average I guess maybe my school to strict) but ur literature is rather poor.

Literature actually very easy de just read read and ANSWER TO THE POINT I know sound very SIMple but I dun know why a lot of people cant do it. If u can do tt u can share the same mark as me, an A1 for Literature. (trying to show off here, haha)

Maths huh... U did extremely badly... Listen to this, PRACTICE MAKE PERFECT. By practicing, you 'see' more pattern and u can improve ur skill on being too careless. (If I can get 89 for SA1 i dont see why u cant)

History... I rather speechless, I just passed only... rather lousy cause I disliked my teacher that should be the reason why I get only an C5 for it. But for history as long as u get the foundation right, u are bound to score. The foundation here refers to the format, knowledge of Singapore eg what did the Japanese did to Singapore. Be VERY detailed.

Science I think U NEED TO DEVELOP INTEREST IN IT. U see if u say hate it, do u think u can do greatly? Get an distintion?

Home Ec... u seems to be gifted...

Art.... U are quite good... I believe u do have a certain level of creativity which thrus resulted in high result for Home Ec. Keep it up!

Remember... I am good only at Maths and Science, I don't know why... maybe I am not gifted in language but everyone had their own talent so work on it somedays u might be someone of sucess, if tt happen better say thankyou to me and give me a big treat if tt happens if u think what I had listed above give u some help. I will look forward to it. Btw where is ur geography? I think geo is a good way to score.

U Must BUCK UP ON UR MATHS. If u didnt promote to A maths, u are going to suffer in future if u go to poly or JC. Poly for some course neeed A math i suppose dun be like my cousin regrettted not taking A math during sec 3 now poly suffering...

Try to change a tuition teacher or go to a different tuition center if the current 1 is unable to help you. However, make sure you do practice your maths since you cannot expect tuition teachers to create miracles.

Maths is not a subject you can just practice only tuition since you tend to forget most of the things by the time of the next lesson if you have not been regularly practicing like my current tuition boy...

U better buck up then. You did pretty decently for your PSLE to get into ur current school so it means that you can study. Just don't be lazy, spent more time on your studies and less on games/tv/sleeping etc and you should be able to do alot better.

With TS results, I don't think JC is an option. Besides working hard, now will be a good time to plan what course to take up in poly. That is if he is not planning to go for Nitec courses.
