There was one time i took 961 at 12am from bukit timah (1374A Last bus to WTBI)I was alone inside the bus with BC throughout Junction 10 all the way to WTBI....

Nowadays I think SBST speed is faster than SMRT ones. Still remember sv 965 o405 flying pass a sv 161 VO along SLE at speed of 75-80 kmh.

Because of massive fleet additions over the years...SBST upgrade a bus at one time but SMRT add 2-3 buses with more flexible duty for BCs

And majority SBST Mealbreak/rest time is shorter and that encourage the BCs to arrive a bit earlier at termination point

So envious. Bus drivers can afford to be late nowadays. Used to be penalised during my time. Late for 3 minutes and there goes the precious break.

For some cases yes,I've ever late for 21 mins and BOCC just ask me to go toilet and move after that..Subsequent trip slightly late for 6 mins only
