Trying to find a relative

Not sure where to post or even where to look. I am trying to find a relative to our family.

I am from the UK with an uncle who stayed in Singapore after the WW2 and married and had one daughter. Not had any contact, but as I come to Singapore I wanted to try and locate her.

Any ideas of where to try would be helpful.

Tried the phone book - Only details I have are uncles surname Barnes who stayed after WW2 and married a local and had one daughter, but I think she may have married and had children. Probably would be 55 plus, not sure of exact details as my mother ( his sister died 4 yrs ago) I don't know why but I vaguely remember Tampines as an address ( not 100% certain)

To add - Uncle is definitely deceased, died in Perth, having left Australia.

Would only be his daughter now living in SG - not sure how easy it will be make contact,

Shame really, would like to have found a link - UK family originate from Middx (nr London)

or perhaps, you can try approaching this group called crime library? they help ppl to search for missing ppl, lost relatives etc..

I think there is a library that helps people look for long lost family
