Previously, it was rumoured that bus routes 176, 920, 922, 970,
972, 973, 975, 979 and 979M would use the new bus interchange,
whereas the other bus routes will have other arrangements. (eg.
971E start from BS44641 - Blk 602)
The routes in question are 75, 180, 184 and 700.
75 is a very long route, more than 20
kilometres in one direction, and it serves many independent
connections. My guess is that 75 will move into Bukit Panjang Bus
Interchange, once 979M merge into 979.
180 just nice 20 kilometres, and is already
looping around Bukit Panjang Bus Interchange, so I would expect 180
to remain the same, and continue to loop around Bukit Panjang Bus
Interchange.
184 more than 24 kilometres. What I foresee is
that 184 may start from Clementi, if Clementi has space, and loop
around Bukit Panjang Bus Interchange, like 180. The important thing
is to not remove the connection between Clementi MRT and Ngee Ann
Poly, and Bukit Panjang, because that is essentially what 184 is
created for. It would be like 82 at Serangoon, except this one
would not trigger a new bus route to be created.
700 slightly more than 20 kilometres. What I
feel is that 700 can be integrated into 971E.
