Looking at the tiny order of just 15 buses I doubt that they are
meant for SMRT..
It wouldn't make sense to only buy 15 buses for SMRT since 1. It
contradicts economic sense to buy small since prices will be
higher, 2. SMRT is undergoing massive HC fleet rehaul and they need
as many buses as could be, and 3. SMRT had experience operating the
E500
I feel that the order may be placed due to interest by other
operators to try out the make, perhaps SBST or GA (esp. GA..), or
it could simply be for TT to replace their storage E500s.. Who
knows?
Its either SMRT or TTS like i say,Nothing fancy except for SG
plate and USB.I doubt the authority will supply to SBST or
GAS..Very2 doubtful...
