Um the thing is, I already applied for lasalle. I only need to come for interview date and see if I get accepted.

Also, I don't think I'll want to retake and then go to poly cause even if I go to poly, I'll still choose design courses which also makes no difference.

And to Lorry, yes. I'd like to major in design (since I have interest) but I also don't mind mass comm because I also aspire to be a journalist.

If you went to Lasalle, you'll undergo a foundation which will prepare you into entering your major. For now, just prepare a good portfolio.

Yea. What i think is, if you could get into Lasalle with your results (as i said your results is not everything, theres still portfolio interview), then what for to retake O level again? Go poly for what.

You dont have to take art in secondary school to go to art schools. What matters is your portfolio. Of course if you took art in sec sch it will be good as you could take some works that you did last time to put into your portfolio.

i see.. well.. the thing is.. i took F&N in sec sch too.. the difference is that i m not as keen in art as you:)

I think the reason if I should retake is maybe if I'm old next time and still want to find a job or if I can't find any design job, many will still look at Olevel and at least 4 passes. Haha, sorry if I think too far.

As a student from NAFA,

i would definitely encourage you to join the school, but please do not think of it as a course in which you can just slack your way through.

Yes, there are times when you have fun but there are also days that you're going to miss your sleep over assessments. Most importantly, be prepared to meet people from a wide spectrum of nationality and character.

The registration is still on till the end of March, make a wise choice. Ultimately, it's your future and there's only so much we can help you with.

i am just curious, why aren't you talking to people already in the schools you mentioned or those who graduated and see whether which is more suitable for you..

also, you can look thru the courses and then go a google to see which ones are more marketable and recognised in the market..that should be the basic criteria/concern..

hopefully, this may "kick"-start you in your quest for answer.
