acne problems are very common in e teenage age grp
how old are you by the way?
seeing a doctor does help, you have to see a dermatologist (skin
specialist), such as those in the skin centre, or GPs that
specially deal with acne
they can give you various lotions and oral medications which can
help
i've got a fren, who has similar problem, and e medications do
work
but also, you muz be patient lah.... coz e medicines take time
to work.... 3mths liddat
not instant cure lah 
n seeing doctor is abit expensive lah
haha... cure for acne ah........ there is lah.....
you simply outgrow it lah.... will disappear by mid 20s for most
ppl..... except for e occasional pimple
how you can help yourself? drink lotsa water, and learn to
relax.... lotsa ppl (both guys and gals) get pimple outbreaks juz
b4 exams lah 
some pimple creams are quite gd too.... but you must know which
ones... and try stick to one or 2.... dun anyhow try everything
haha... dun worry too much k.... acne is juz a phase everyone
