I doubt it will work long distance.
anyway, the regret thingy is the same reason why the other half
doesnt wants to commit.
one feels tat both shld plunge into it and have no regrets, one
feels tat he/she will have regrets if it has to end one day.
but both are selfish individuals. and cant help but get
together.

i won't say long distance relationship sure guarantee won't
work. It takes much more effort, commitment, trust and
so on to maintain to make it work. Very rare I come
across couples from long distance relationship end up marrying each
other.
I for one will not want to take the risk
