You are right. Got it from the women before, more than once. One good eg, one nasty bitchy woman boss practically asked one by one of us to her office and talked bad about us individually. Later, among colleagues we exchanged notes and agreed that this bitch was practically badmouthing every staff. The staff all left because of her including me.

Depends on what sort of politics, good ones can help.

Your boss is seeking information in management term ... managing conflict .. from there she will be able to get a lot of information if she can manage it .. but personally I feel this is low down and unethical...

I doubt she has any good management skills. Basically, she is extremely obnoxious even to her own husband. She shouted at the husband many times he called. This sort of woman is unscrupulous, working with principles. Anyway, her counterparts don't like her, too.

Most of the time male bosses and colleagues are easier to get along.

cuz more "chin cai"..they also won't harp on minor details + won't be that revengeful..

i ever encounter 1 female boss (div head) before ah..who told 1 of her subordinates (dept head) that she don't like 1 of the girls..reason being : this girl didn't smile or nod her head as a form of greeting whenever they walked past each other..

when the dept head told us..my reaction was like WTH? =.='''

Not all but majority of women bosses take things very personally, petty, vindictive, temperamental. If possible try not to work with women bosses unless you know for sure there is proven record that she is pleasant to work with.

if they are in a bad mood..then it will really be "halleluju" for u..

i ever encounter 1 admin head (Female) before..she can tell u 1 thing today & happily go back on her words the next day..and, she will just flew into a rage if u dare to argue back with her..

she also have severe mood swings..if she's in a good mood..can chit chat with u merrily..even lunch together..BUT..if she's in a bad mood..that's it =.=''' u can hear her shouting or scolding someone very often...

Arrr... working life really sucks.. i feeling helpless and useless.... ever since i joined the company i was no assinged to new project... alwz repeating the same job being left by previous employee.. sian.... working hours very long and cant online... sometimes no job for the whole day .... but when come to weekly meeting then 'big trouble' sigh...
