I'm a diploma holder working in a small Accounting firm right now. But I'm dreading my work and am looking at interesting jobs available.

I wish to know if anyone here joins Outward Bound Singapore (OBS) as instructors? Or any friends who had done so?

Being an OBS Instructor, you really really have to forgo lots of things in life.

Friends, family, personal time, and even a relatively good paying job outside.

Unless you really like spending your life every week with different batches of people, love camping and advantures so much, being away from home every time, then you should.

i know for one that OBS instructors are paid as well as teachers, because they're civil servants after all (under PA, which is a stat board). and many obs instructors bring people overseas for workshops.

my fren's bf is an instructor there. sounds like a pretty good job if u like that kinda life.

Hi,

I have just ORD and stumbled across the OBS recruitment exercise so i write in to actually requested for a job opportunity as I am super interested. And I recently receive their reply to ask me to take part in the FEB recruitment and fill in tons of forms. I wonder if there is any people is currently an instructor in OBS to provide some advice on the interview and the experience?

I actually got to go for my Uni studies in August but doesnt want to give up on this great oppotunity to work in OBS as a instructor. So am I allowed to join this recruitment if I can only commit full time till August? Will they allow me to actually work as assignment based when I am in Uni?

Please advice needed urgently...do not want to waste this opportunity !!!
