I notice many of the active
threads here are regarding the bus deployment, cameo and other
information which are not disclosed to the public. Who are we to
comment about bus when we do not know the actual
figures?
Even if there are people here who know, is it right to reveal
such information on public domain?
Anyway, what's the point of knowing which buses are deployed on
which service? Yeah, it is good to know whether it is a
Single-decker, Articulated or Double-decker bus that is deployed on
a service. Knowing which bus model is secondary. But why bother to
find out exactly which are the buses that are on a
service?
A bus service is after all a service run using buses. It takes
you from point A to point B.
The description of this forum states that this forum is in the
"hobbies" category. Shouldn't this be just a hobbies forum? Since
when has this become a forum where people reveal information that
is not for public consumption?
Actually, this forum is quite good, except I think there are
some threads which should not be created. Basically those about
deployment, procurement and information that will never be revealed
to public (eg. change of aircon units). Of the thirty threads in
the first page, there are around ten such threads.
The other twenty threads are also not "pure". Some of the
postings also contain private information.
I notice many threads here are "sequels" and are unnecessarily
created. For the "sequels", can we just combine all into one
thread? For the unnecessary ones, I think we can only let them
continue to flow in and sink to the other pages of this forum.
The problem with this forum is that threads expire over time and
apparently, similar threads cannot be combined into one.
If everything is combined into just a few main threads, I
believe we can consolidate all views and opinions and make better
decisions and judgements.
