Bukit Batok is the first to receive many of the new initatives
by SMRT Buses, including:
- New generation of service guides
- New bus information panel and interactive board
- New side panel on buses, near the entrance door
- New livery OC and Citaro
As Bukit Batok is to become part of the first tender under the
new competitive tendering model, it is clear SMRT is trying its
best to retain this territory and perhaps even go on the
offensive.
On this basis I would not be surprised if the MAN DD ends up on
route 106.
