Now we knew why SMRT only orders 101 Alexander Dennis Enviro 500.I guaranteed this will be a sucessful trial and probably they will order at least 150 units...

Adding on - SMB5894P is using the MAN NL323F Batch 3 (small?) driver mirror (offside of the bus) instead of the usual MAN NL323F Batch 1 & 2 (bigger?) driver mirror that SMB5888H - SMB5893S has been using..

As for the usage of Batch 3 mirrors, it was temporarily installed at the offside of the bus itself during the delivery as well as the paintjob. After which it'll be exchanged out with the mainstream Batch 1 & 2 mirrors.

SMB5894P has got another minor adjustment to the exterior looks.

The top-front of the bus is painted (or maybe isn't painted) in black, giving it a "better" look than the 5 earlier production units.

Bump again.

Apparently, SMRT painted over that small black area with grey a few days after it was parking at WLBP.

I saw one yesterday on 964.. The looks of it like two twiggies stacked on top of each other... Furthermore with the bars... Quite weird I feel, unlike the Enviro with the bars looks better

5896J seems to have blue tinted windows...both sides n rear have them..not sure about the front..

SMRT/LTA should consider adding another 84 units to replace all those MK2 bendy and earlier batch Habits.That way can just order another 40 units of A24s

I hope you didn't literally mean "a few".... for there's a need for more than "a few" more HC buses especially in YIS/SBW.

I have a feeling these first 16 A95's were possible only after LTA took 16 more of the E500's away from the 100 or so intended for SMRT originally. 1-for-1 replacement?

Yes the math does show that 1-for-1 replacement...

but SMRT needs to honor its original commitment of 200 DDs... then LTA came in and got 116 from them... so SMRT should continue to order more.
