Now we knew why SMRT only orders 101 Alexander Dennis Enviro 500.I guaranteed this will be a sucessful trial and probably they will order at least 150 units...

If LTA or the operator wants to cut cost, they can just simply paste any of the BSEP advertisements.. Such as DTL2, My.Transport App, Thoughtful Ride, etc..

there is cost of the printing of advertisement... not so cheap also, (the production cost is S$3400 per DD for those advertisements under SBST)... might as well print the green livery and paste on it... think will be cheaper..

there is one paintless A95 in WLBP, but the top part is in green colour...

I dont know how long the A95s wanna collect dust at Wlbp.

By the way there is a truck with a SMRT logo (where SMB5898D follow the truck) and two thin metals like a measurement which is the same height as the double deck. So look like they want to see if 811 route is DD accesible.

Since Yishun Avenue 7, Avenue 6, Avenue 9, Ring Road and Street 81 does not experience a double decker before.

LTA is supposed to be the one in control, not getting pushed around.

Otherwise, how is GCM supposed to work?

To be honest it doesnt make sense to give A95 to TT. They could just operate E500s and Citaros. Why do they need to have one more bus model especially DDs that will only go for 106/189. In fact, SMRT really needs those DDs.

Who told you the E500s will go to TT if LTA already supply them A95s?I bet the E500 will stay with SMRT.TT already gets the B9TLs.If they get 3 models then other GCM also will be getting the E500s as well..All standardise one la.

I don't have a good feeling if they can't even sort out fleet allocation. Plans should have been known in advance and decisions should have been made beforehand.

It seems like the E500 buses will go over as usual along with the A95 buses..

Need so many DDs? Most likely the E500 will stay with SMRT while TT get A95 in return.

Thats is what im thinking too..The original plan is for svc 106 & 189 only but SMRT already short of DDs..So LTA step in and buy those A95s instead for those service and the E500s stays with SMRT.
