Relax,SBST will retire their DM3500s,VOs and probably
VSOs,Tridents etc while SMRT waiting to say goodbye to their
DAFs,MK II bendies and most probably Volgren Gs and a few first
batch Habits too..So do you think its enough buses?I am not
suprised if LTA trial a few models soon.
SMRT will say goodbye to DAF, MK2, Habit, Volgren bendies. So
that more services can be WAB especially 960. Anyway, TIB988H has
been sent to the junkyard by now. TIB990A is already withdrawn from
service after SR Nathan passed away.
SBST will retire DM3500, VO3X Batch 2, VO3X Batch 3, K230UB
Batch 1 Euro IV, K230UB Batch 2 Euro IV; then B10TLs if need be in
2023 (and Tridents). All bus routes are WAB. About 415 buses is
enough to replace all VO3X.
LTA topped up SBST Citaro order by 50 more buses to replace
DM3500s. If SBST needs to add in new service, it might be a new
order to replace K230UBs which is terminal update.
