To me the, the purpose of human life is pretty standard for
everyone.
When you are a baby, you just want to eat, sleep everyday and
grow up.
When you are a child, you want study, learn, play everyday and
grow up.
When you are a teenage, you want make friends, get some special
achievements and grow up.
When you are a young adult, you want a career, want to get
attached and earn as much money as possible.
When you are middle-age adult, you want your own home, you want
your own family and earn as much money as possible.
When you are getting old and you know that you are going to die,
you want to reflect on your past actions, want to meditate, want to
die peacfully and go heaven.
What your current purpose in life is dependant on your age.
Of course, if you know you are going to die soon, then better
skip the lesser purpose and redirect your energy towards the
ultimate purpose, and that is to die peacefully and go heaven. Why?
Because when you die, does it really matters how many thousands of
dollars in your bank account, how many PhD paper qualifications you
obtained, how many boy friends or girl friends you have, how many
business and landed property you have? The answer is no.
We all know that we are going to die one day and all that we
achieved or gained in life, we are sure to lose them all. The only
"things" that you can take with you when you die is your
karma(merits and demerits), your wisdom(if any), your
relationship with God(if you have one).
totally agree with you...if u keep thinking on achieving your
goals, u will be stressed up....so no meaning trying to achieve ur
goals and stress..
