probably more like fringe info here....
i like the car very much. it was in my car
shortlist and I very nearly bought it recently as my
personal car. eventually i settled for a made-in-oxford coupe
instead. why i didn't buy is mainly due to the following:
- high fuel consumption as compared to my english pedigree,
and
- i read that servicing can be a costly if you plan to hold it
for long.
when i was still in spore, a colleague of mine has one, and it
is a sweet ride. he has a semi-auto altho i think a manual is the
one to go for.
i also read that the rx-8 is due to be discontinued and no
replacement is expected from mazda. so, you could be getting a soon
to be extinct machine (i meant it as a good point as in
exclusivity)
