Is it now a practice for a 168 bus to standby in case the next
buses are late?
Just now, I skipped 7663S as I wanted to get a seat on the upper
deck, so I waited for the next one (3656P) which apparently just
entered Woodlands interchange. It was the only 168 bus at that
time. Despite the fact that it was supposed to move 10 mins later,
it only moved after 20 mins which caused a snaking queue. It was
also the time when 3821D & 3945Y came in
As a matter of fact, the bus was packed, so 3821D made a trip
without break 1 min after 3656P departed, hence leaving 3945Y
alone
It was lucky that there were 6 more 168 buses behind running at
5 mins interval
Previously, when the old interchange was still open, there was
one time when there were no 168 buses. It took 20 mins for 3821D to
finally enter the interchange and made a trip with 1 min break
3945E. 3145Y is another svc bus. Ya so frequent until 168/161 bus
blocked the road while waiting for parking
