Sorry to disappoint, but, the temporary Choa Chu Kang bus interchange may be about the same size as the current Choa Chu Kang bus interchange.

Well, according to the map,

- The junction of Yishun Avenue 8 and 7 seems to be an ideal location to build the bus depot, for the "Sembawang-Yishun" package.

- The junction of Ang Mo Kio Avenue 5 and Ang Mo Kio Industrial Park 2 seems to be an ideal location to build the depot for the "Sengkang-Hougang" package.

- The depot for "Bedok" package can be located at Bedok North Avenue 4 area, near the existing Bedok North depot.

The depot for "Choa Chu Kang" package would probably be at Sungei Kadut area.

and the list goes on.

Basically, there are industrial areas around to site bus depots. It's unlikely that LTA will take over the depots owned by the operators, as that would mean paying for a property with shorter lease, and incurring the costs of refurbishing and upgrading the depot to have updated facilities.

As for the assignment of routes, I do not think there would be any change to the composition of bus packages.

Current operators bus depots:Soon Lee,Kranji,Bt Batok,Ayer Rajah,Braddell,Ang Mo Kio,Hougang,Ang Mo Kio-SMRT & Bedok North..How many billions more LTA had to spend to replace those depots/Bus Parks?Hgdep got expansion going on.

Bulim: Bulim Bus Depot, later on it can be moved to JRL Depot

Loyang: Loyang Bus Depot

Seletar: Seletar Bus Depot

Bukit Merah: Ulu Pandan Bus Depot

Sembawang-Yishun: Mandai Bus Depot

Sengkang-Hougang: Hougang Bus Depot

Bedok: Bedok North Bus Depot

Woodlands: Woodlands Bus Depot

Tampines: East Coast Bus Depot

Jurong West: Soon Lee Bus Park

Serangoon-Eunos: Kim Chuan Bus Depot

Choa Chu Kang-Bukit Panjang: Gali Batu Bus Depot

Clementi: Bukit Batok Bus Depot

Bishan-Toa Payoh: can choose either Ang Mo Kio (SBST/SMRT) or Braddell, but Braddell Depot may close down due to a bit too small for extension.
