I think he meant the stop where u alight to go KTPH on 858.

Cause infront of KTPH, it's the new Yishun Polyclinic iirc(?). Or some hospital that's not KTPH if Im not wrong.

What is the average layover/resting time at an interchange/terminal for a service?

Is it dependent on run-time?

For instance, sv 14 run time in one direction is 140 mins... so does sv 14 get 20 mins layover time at Clementi/Bedok

Contrary sv 38 run time is 100 mins... so does sv 38 get 15 mins layover time at Tampines

Not sure how the layover/rest time is calculated, but I feel for most services this is around 20 minutes at an interchange/terminal. It could be 15 mins for feeders? or could it be even more than 20 minutes for certain services?

Confused and looking for answers.

Its mainly the frequency from what i know. 858 run time nearly 3h, rest time is around 10 mins which is the frequency of 858 during off peak. Its like 1 bus come in WRI then the bus that is parked will come out to start trip

Tampines Interchange has been slightly modified and the alighting berths for buses have been shifted back to its original position.

There was a long queue for buses to alight passengers today at AM peak. Tampines is really bursting, the expansion needs to come faster (has it even started construction?).

Anyone knows how big Bt Panjang ITH will be? Does it have space to accomodate all of 75, 176, 177, 180, 184, 700, 920, 922, 970, 971E, 972, 975, 979, 983 (that's 10 full-day trunks, 1 peak-hour trunk, 1 express and 2 feeders)?

If so, will there be any space for additional services (such that some CCK services can be diverted there temporarily, to reduce overcrowding)?

Starts from Upp Bukit Timah Road (Bukit Panjang MRT Stn): Svc 971E

Services looping at Bukit Panjang (Jelebu Rd/Petir Rd): Svc 177

Services looping at Bukit Panjang (Petir Rd/Jelebu Rd): Svc 180, 983

If you mention of easing the crowd at CCK, Svc 67 would be one of the candidates to be shorten (Tampines - New Bridge Road) or looping at Rochor Canal Rd. Another service would be Svc 190 (New Bridge Road - Bukit Panjang (Loop) since DTL starts operating already.

Hmm.. I think it will take time for the commuters to get use of transfering from BP LRT to BP MRT via the walkway. Since you mention that 700 & 972 already at Bukit Panjang, I think Svc 190 and Svc 972 can switch whereby Svc 190 loops at Bencoolen St while Svc 972 terminate at New Bridge Road.

Loading for Svc 67 still need to take a look whether commuters prefer Svc 67 - BP MRT ot BP LRT (Walkway) - BP MRT

Hi mr SBS9256X, what a suggestion. By a mere stroke of your sentences, you have suddenly deprived a huge portion of CCK residents 2 trunk services by just cutting smrt 67 route and smrt 190 route. CCK residents will be up in arms. This will definitely not be allowed. For those people who keep cutting routes, think of the huge impact that it will be. CCK to orchard smrt 190 connection gone. Who will still want to live in CCK when transport connections are considered bad as compared to other towns and now people keep suggesting to cut further? Cheers. Thanks.

When does Bukit Panjang Interchange open? It is quite a mess to see how 920, 922, 979 do the loop around DTL2 station and to BPJ temporary terminal. I saw lot of chaos and queue of buses when I went there.
