Apparently, a High-Speed Rail station comes with a bus
interchange facility, like an airport.
Is there a possibility that the High Speed Rail station at
Jurong East could have a bus interchange of its own? Because this
seems to be the arrangement at other High Speed Rail stations,
where there is seamless connection to local bus routes.
If so, some routes at the Jurong East Bus Interchange can be
transferred to the (possible) bus interchange at the High Speed
Rail station, reducing the number of bus routes at Jurong East Bus
Interchange.
With a smaller number of bus routes, the new Jurong East Bus
Interchange could have smaller capacity, and may be able to fit
into the limited space confined by the MRT viaduct, as a regular
building (Integrated Transport Hub).
Wah its u again. I understood what u wrote, until the last
para... What talking you?
Anyways i dun think it is rly time (or is it time) to talk abt
SG-KL HSR, as i wont forsee it being ready by 31 dec 2026. And pls,
how many times LTA has disappointed us by delaying stuff, let alone
working together with another country. Correct me
if im wrong, but i think lta is involved in that huge project
right? Ha. I think aft CRL finish the HSR still not open LOLOL
Anyways, there will always be a possibility that there might be
another int, like how sengkang compassval, coz i rmb there were
articles that stated the HSR stop would not be connected to JE. But
then again, HSR is located near JE MRT (the current jurong country
club right?), and there shld be efforts made to the pax to connect
to the MRT seamlessly, albeit more walking, and from there connect
to the bus int. IMO a second one wont rly be necessary. At most
would be a few looping services?
