I really hope CCK will get bigger Int in future..Hopefully with 55 parking lots(42 12m/ 13 18m)..Not only 700 but 171 can ends there.

Or maybe just merge both existing and temporary interchanges together..

I don't think so. With the MRT Jurong Region Line, I have a feeling that the Choa Chu Kang and Jurong East new bus interchange capacity may be smaller, instead of bigger.

Because the Jurong Region Line could potentially reduce the need for buses.

Some of the bus routes at Choa Chu Kang, Jurong East and Boon Lay may become redundant once the Jurong Region Line begins revenue service.

With the numbers of MRT breakdowns,LTA still want to cut so many bus service?

I wonder why LTA doesnt built a bus park opposite SMRT Amdep when they built one for Woodlands?Save the hassle of parking at Loyang/Sembawang and Yishun..

Agreed. Buses still play an important role even after 2030 when Line such as JRL & CRL revenue service.

There was news of 171 cut to BPJ as well about a year back. I think they are waiting for BPJ Interchange to open before making further changes.

700 is doing quite well. I don't see the point of axing it. Can be renumbered if they don't like that it is the only service with 7xx.

700 can further be extended to Boon Lay via CCK Road, CCK Ave 1, CCK Ave 6, CCK Ave 5, CCK Ave 3, Brickland Road, KJE/PIE, Jurong West Ave 2, Jurong West Ave 4, Jurong West St 64, Boon Lay Interchange.

If Service 700 is extended to Boon Lay Bus Interchange, the route will be very long

wah now jurong east will have a proper interchange liao CW3/4 and PCS bus cfm kena kick out and use that opp blk 135 bus stop HAHA

proper interchange? the old interchange was doing fine.... until they decide to demolish it to make space for integrated hub..but right now, they are building a NEW interchange (not integrated hub)..... and most likelyit will be at the land area where the old interchange is.. so what is the point of demolish the old interchange?

Ulu Pandan can control Clementi,Buona Vista,Kent Ridge..Bt Batok depot can close

yeah... maybe they already have plan to build a depot under Mt Faber loh... just dig underground tunnel network to act as depot...

A bus interchange costs around 20-50 million dollars to build.

Joo Koon bus interchange costs 18 million to build.

Bukit Panjang bus interchange costs 21 million to build.

Yishun temporary bus interchange and associated works costs 49 million dollars to build.

Considering the Jurong Gateway Road bus interchange project is categorised under the 40 million category, I have a feeling that yes, this is just a bus interchange.

Maybe a separate tender will be called, by URA, to call for commercial developments at the Jurong Gateway bus interchange site.

The government.

LTA, URA are government departments.

URA sell the land to private developer, to build the condominium.

actually Jem or Westgate is supposed to integrate with bus interchange, but end up it did not happen. upsetting residents.

including what fact? you are the one who say that govt is going to build CONDO at the site of the new jurong east interchange?? you are the one who say that they are not just building an interchange, they are building a condo as well.

why govt will build a CONDO ? then sell as BTO ah???

I was stating the probable reason for relocating the interchange. The relocation is probably to make way for all these.
