2 new routes in the Jurong West package may be for Tuas
industrial area, possibly to cover more parts of Tuas South and/or
to provide better connections to the Tuas West Extension MRT
stns.
I think the breaking up of long trunk svcs is still possible.
The LTA press release refers to "new routes" rather than "new
services", so some of these could be from the splitting of existing
services rather than entirely new svcs.
I also wondered, since the Bukit Merah package expires in 2
years, and ARBP is likely to close down to further develop
Mediapolis, where will the route package be based after that? If
the routes would be transferred to Ulu Pandan depot I forsee lots
of dead mileage, unless LTA can build a new depot near ARBP so
quickly, or ARBP isn't closed down.

Tuas MRT opening will have bus route amendments.
