I doubt that Punggol expansion will even have berths.

For Hougang expansion, can buses be allowed to park there when the berths are still under construction?

There are currently 38 lots, not 48.

Hi mr sbs3004X, it seems you are not up to date with the news or you are just trying to be funny. Press releases have already indicated new berths, new toilets and additional 13 parking lots will be built. Passengers have a wider area to board buses and there will be 4-5 new bus services to cater for the growing demand of the new town and mall. Cheers. Thanks.

373: Sengkang <> Anchorvale/Compassvale Crescent (feeder) - route proposed

164: Sengkang <> AMK (trunk) - route proposed

507: Sengkang <> Changi Airport (express) bypassing Tampines

108: Hougang Central <> Tampines Interchange (trunk) duplicating 27. 27 in turn will be Tampines Interchange <> Changi Airport (short trunk)

501: Sengkang <> Tomlinson Road (loop) (express) - route proposed as 500.

definitely not CDS, i was told clearly 500 from Sengkang - Boon Lay :)

We have to wait and see. They plan many times but it doesn't come out true. Heard many other ones also like the CG-BR service and 155 split. But none of them have materialized yet.

Hi mr sbs3004X, don't worry. When they say will have, it will surely have. I am not the guy in charge of project so I don't know. But you will know by Q3 2017. There will also be new toilets as you should have known by now that there is no toilet at MRT side. The only toilets are currently at the back of the bus interchanges. Cheers. Thanks.

Still 22 days for 883 operation to begin. Those MANs maybe for other services like 167/980 as of now. But I agree 883 will start with a fleet of 5 MANA22s.

Hi mr busanalyser, 507, 108, 27 too massive disruption for too many passengers. Interrupt the daily lives of too many people. Sector from Hougang interchange to buangkok MRT and sengkang east ave area lost their direct bus to airport. This may lead to huge complaints. Once again, people having direct service lost it without any alternatives. Cheers. Thanks.

I do feel it makes sense as you will have express service from Sengkang with one change. Currently 27 from Buangkok or Hougang via Tampines Ave 10, 9, 7, 4, 5 is too much time consuming.

People are better off transferring at TPE Punggol to 858. They will save 30 minutes one way travel time and one hour daily which is big amount of time saving for everyone.

But you are right. May not happen as it is a BOLD move.

Guess any "express" services to the CBD are now introduced as CDS services instead, so 513 may have been the last one.

500 route speculations:

In any case, it would be unlikely for 500 to significantly duplicate any sections of 102, 163, 85, 156, 52, 985, 506 and 502. It may probably serve Clementi and/or parts of Jurong East but not Bt Batok or Bidadari.

I agree with you,24,27,53 all winding routes.Why not a new service from Hougang/Sengkang via TPE bus stop then express to Airport to compliment 858 instead?27 can cut short Tampines to Changi Airport..
