I think you should not let what's at stake muddle up with your
decision. If this r/s is makin him have more outburst it will not
look good for the both of you.
However, as you have not specified exactly what really cause him to
have such a reaction to an outburst - sorry but I just cannot see
and accept your going out with another guy as the sole reason for
it. Perhaps it has something to do with your past and it is nagging
him and / or he is uncomfortable with your date. Besides, why do
you need to go out on a 1 - 1 with the other guy(s)?
Maybe you should think along these lines and have some answers for
yourself.
