Pessimistic about the future

Dear Aunt Agony,

For a start, you have great helpful advices among the threads I browse.

To go straight to the points, my problem stems from the fact that I am feeling hopelessness and helplessness as time passed as if there is no hope with where I am working....in Geylang.

Frequently, I see public display of illegal activities ( petty or sometime serious ) in the main road of Geylang such as this :-

Even SBS buses have to stop for them to buy cigarettes from these peddlers.

I was wondering is it me or what about those people taking the public transports like buses, don't you guys/gals feel something is wrong with all these frantic illegal activities going on. Especially parents, do you feel sick of all this?
