Hmm, thats hard to say. Mainly, over usage of Singlish makes me feel like the other person is a gal. Also the words that are used will make the language sound either feminine or masculine.. Like for example usage of "leh", "lah", "meh", "mah" etc will determine what the sentence sounds like and the reader begins to imagine that the other person is a female if there are too many "lehs" or things like that..

Haha complicated.. I am not sure how to explain too. Best though is skip Singlish completely when typing in forums. Thats what I do. Helps you improve your English too =)
