A mommy's boy is a guy who let's his mother tells him what to
do, decide for him, and controls him like a r/c vehicle.
A mommy's boy doesn't know how to think independently and requires
approval from his mother for everything in his life.
A mommy's boy is one who has no self confidence to figure out what
is good or bad for HIMSELF.
Being obedient and filial is different from being a mommy's
boy.
You should be more careful about dating a mommy's boy.
Because mommy's boys don't know how to keep their mothers from
crossing over personal boundaries. Including YOURS.
If the mother is very manipulative and controlling, you WILL have
control and power struggle problems.
My mother is a manipulative woman, she wants to control every
aspect of my brother's life.
When my brother and SIL had children, my mom wants to control how
they raise their kids, and CONSTANTLY complain about my SIL.
BUYERS BEWARE.
I repeat,
Mommy's boys are those who cannot be assertive enough to tell their
own mothers to BUTT OUT of his own marriage/relationship.
The only way to prevent big marital problems with mommy's boys are
to ensure you DON'T LIVE WITH YOUR IN-LAWS. And make SURE you set
your boundaries at the beginning of the relationships.
A guy can still be filial and nice to their parents without having
them INVADE into their own personal relationship with their
gf/spouse.
