nuub1987 SG if now you are doing part time den got 2 jobs to choose.. one is a 7/hr admin job 30 min journey from ur house but no fren there another is a 6/hr admin job 45 min journey from house but got fren working there so can talk kock 2gether which one will you choose?
Diehard_89 SG if for 3-6 months I would just the 2nd one cos it's kind of temporary though it's a long period but for longer period I still would choose 3-6 months cos got friends..besides more friends also can be made I am worse than you 1hour and 30minutes to my workplace with no friend for 4 months [email protected]

Scania N113CRB luver SG Mine is 1Hr 15min to my work place , with no friends . There mostly china woman and uncles . Plp of my age ? Got. Guys only lah. Somemore i everyday have to wake up at 5.30am. Diehard_89 SG [email protected] at least you all got stuff to do and improve..for me I am working straight 9 hours..sometimes no work to do cos I don't have enough qualification..it's at my aunt's workplace which is some internal construction company..do miscellaneous stuff whenever possible. I am working with aunties and uncles too..and most are from Vietnam, Myammar, India..most are quite friendly though they don't really talk much unlike us teenagers. so I prefer to have a friend to tag with me so that I'll have more courage to approach strangers and of course..not so bored lol
walesa SG Why don't you view the first job as being an avenue for you to sharpen your interpersonal skills (not to mention it pays better ) which will be essential in life? You aren't going to look for jobs only where you have friends for a lifetime, are you?
