Perhaps in the society i am, the chinese are generally like
that. anything, the couple can discuss and debate or even fight
between the couple in private. but in fron of other people give
each other some face, some leeway, dont refute each other's
decision or action too outrightly.
example, if a man do something wrong, do you expect his wife to
tell him off/scold him outrightly in public or private?
