rumours..how to solve them?

ya..true..hmm..i already did tat…and now’s like having a cold war wif the guy whom spreaded the rumour?lol..

hmm..recently i'm feeling quite down..thanks to those rumours..well..here's the situation..

there's a gal who likes a guy..but the guy rejected her..however,after a period of time..the guy accepted her and said he regretted rejecting her in the past..and so he asked the gal for stead..however the gal rejected him at first becoz she was still heartbroken...and finally after a few weeks..she accepted him..they went into BGR..

and here's the situation..when the gal was rejected by the guy,everyone pity the gal becoz that time the guy was really having a bad attitude..at that time,everyone was like asking why he didnt accept the gal becoz she's really a nice gal..and he said,'u want ar?go stead wif her la?' ..wth?nvm..and so i kinda pity the gal oso la..so i tried my best to accompany the gal or maybe try to cheer her up?and so after a period of time,we became gd frens..right..and this was the time when the guy said that he regretted rejecting the gal..and i was really happy that the gal accepted the guy..was really glad that they stead..however...there's rumours going around the class saying that i like the gal..and it was not hard for my classmates to believe becoz i was really close to the gal at that time and for the other reason is that..i do have lots of female friends (some close ones) and other ppl think i'm a flirt..right..on the first day when the couple stead(the rumour was already spreaded to the class),the rumour didnt stop..and instead,some ppl thought of seeing wad's my reaction..worst of all,there's this guy in my class whom did something that i cant believe..he whispered to my best friend(another guy) saying,'i'm waiting to see wad's his reaction when he finds out they stead' (in a laughing manner) ..he whispered this in front of me..

unfortunately,i heard wad he said..and so i pointed my middle finger at him..and now?he still thinks he's right..and he did nothing wrong..i admitted i didnt feel good after doing that but on the other side,i think he deserves it.

i then sms the couple apologising abt the rumour that's going around the class as i dun want any misunderstanding among us..luckily they understand me well enuf and so they didnt care abt the rumour..as for the guy whom i pointed the middle finger at,he's still spreading around that i pointed the middle finger and he twisted the whole thing and ended up,i'm the bad guy...

hmm..can anyone tell me wad to do with this matter?or rather wad shoud i do to him?

Showdown with him. N make it clear that lying and spreading false rumours will give him a very painful experience.

Or u can just ignore... who cares. U are up there.. he is down there. If u confront every single issue , then it will have no end. Cant stop false rumours , unless u break his neck. Rolling Eyes

First, the most important question that you have to ask yourself. Do you like her? You need not reply, but you just need to do some soul-searching in your heart.

To stop all the rumour, you have to stop fueling it. Just don't bother about people who created the rumour. The more you explain and clarify, the more the rumour will spread.

All rumuors dies after sometime, so just it some period of time.

Secondly - reason why I posted that is because I really don't think 12 year old relationships and rumours are of much concern but I suppose if you want to help the kid that's fine. I mean honestly, we've all been that age once when school was tough because of us just hitting that age when we're starting to notice girls and rumours are rampant but I'm sure that you can all agree that even though it may have seem like a big deal at the time it's absolutely trivial compared to others things we had yet to experience. So I'm not being a wiseass, I just think you're taking a 13 year old's (or whatever age he is but from what he's told us about his friends he's obviously no older than 13) problem too seriously. If you guys in AA do like helping our youth, no matter how small the problem, please let me know and I'll desist.

Oh and btw, about the chicks comment, I've had gfs before and I can assure you they're HOT! Laughing

i was once a rumour maker, now a rumour stopper...

i can say i am very experienced at rumour stuffs... especially at this age.

all i can say to solve ur solution is not just keep quiet and act as if nothing happened...

i have 2 solutions to u provided u must be very skilled:

1) Start a rumour on him, anyhow start, there is no need for fire to get smoke, just make some smoke urself, anyhow say he love who who, last time he tell u de, make it childish as possible, then when he say u like that girl, then say him back.... the more childish it is, the more effective..

2) "admit" the rumour in a very sarcastic way, or in a sense very fake way, then say like, " Aiyo, like that girl say i like her.... i cover up for u for so long very good le hor, u not young liao, take the initiative la... need my help?"

yeah i agree that both way is very very childish, but it is effective...
this kind has happened both me and my friends... or even my enemies...

Tip: learn to suan ppl, suan as in very sarcastic yet very humorous way... can be very useful in life whether in real world or in school, with friends or family...
