No matter how, he is still your father, respect him. Some people
do not have father, some got abusing father, some father have sex
with their childrens, you should be glad as what your father is, he
got his reason.
Since as a son, you have learnt and understand yr father strange
behavior of neglecting you, next time, when you are a father
yourself, dun do that to your sons.
For without your father, you may not be around. A fatherly figure
sometime hide their emotion from you, and they have to earn money
to help the family as much as possible, perhap your father cannot
afford to send you overseas thereby is frustrate by himself for not
able to provide you what you wish for, but i can guarantee that

good son, you should tell him, it alright Dad, i know your
difficulties, thanks for bringing me up, I love you daddy. I think
