You have to read a lot to score this. You don't even need to memorize the whole text books but if you read newspaper a lot especially on this topic, you will be able to score well.
The markers particularly like points that are not found in textbooks. Imagine you yourself as an marker and you read 100 scripts with the same points. Won't it be boring?
Points must be relevant and make sense. Examples must be relevant and current.
Balance must be shown and both sides of argument must be addressed with more emphasis on one side.

hey, dont not worry before the results are out.
That happened while i was taking my o's social studies paper too..
All the topics that i studied didnt come out , whereas those that came out were those that i didnt study , in the end i smoked my way through , and i managed to get a B3 for my combined humanities.

Ah,Humanities... i took SS and History in Os
The key to it is to know how to BS and BS alot...
You master the above, you can get an A, i didnt know how to answer some WWII question in history, came up with some rubbish i got off the history channel and a little bit of background reading coz i was interested in the topic. Got a A1 in the end Embarassed

That one must have target audience, purpose and impact.
Because the question is something like "What is the picture trying to potray?"
Or something cant rmb exactly.

i screwed up for my combine humans during my o's...
which was really farked up...
i have gotten a C6..i spotted question for both my E geog and ss
and i was dam dam dam dam unlucky..all my spotted topics didnt come out...
except for one...and that particular one topic was so frikken hard...
haiz...
somemore i only took 1 humans...cuz i ish triple sci
in the end..i was lucky...my scienes and maths got distinctions..whew....
and i gotten into a average jc.. sigh..
lucky for me..i m still doing quite well now...
so dun be depressed ya? Wink
