Of course not. Adverse fear of relationships would lead to
avoidance. Prolong avoidance would lead to the development of
anti-social tendencies. And if the problem is not addressed, phobia
and mental illness subsequently steps in. The thought of suffering
from mental illness is enough to make people fear from it. Maybe
some people don't fear mental illness, but I think i speak for most
people.
As what was said in your signature, life is not to be avoided but
lived. If you live a whole life of fear, then isn't that a really
sad life to lead? No doubt our life will be peppered with numerous
trials and tribulations, but riding out these problems and tackling
them head on and thus living life to the fullest is the very
essence of life itself isn't it?
