Hi all;
i had believed that helping some one will come back in circle and some one will help us when I need,though i was not born in a Buddhist family.When I was new here(international student) a local girl signed a contract for phone for 2 years.I am still thankful for her kindness.

As I became accustomed to here and was above age limit ,an acquaintance asked to help him take a phone from singtel,2 year contract.He told me will be careful and pay on time etc etc.Last time the bill was $599.82 and he lied to me that it was only below 100.I gave the bill to him but he doesn't seem to be interested in paying it.Is there anything I can do?I mean some one to complaint to etc?

If he don't pay the next time, cancel the line. Pay the fine and take it as a paid lesson.

nothign you can do about the bill. jsut pay it bah. then tell singtel to cancel the line or deactivate the sim card and give you another one.

Only sign for those whom u really really trust. I too signed a singtel phone line for a China friend. Its been a year and he proved me that he is truth worthy

I always beleive in helping people in need, but also must be mindful who you are helping and the risk you may get yourself into.

For example, if your friend ask you be a guarantor for a loan, don't do that unless you are prepared to pay off the loan if your friend default on the payment. I once turn down a friend who asked me to be his guarantor. After that, he never talk to me anymore. Can't blame him but what to do, I have a family to feed too.

Is not out of picture.have proof that he used the connection all time,copy of numbers he called,phone calls between us recorded© of messages sent.Hoping won't be necessary.Heard there is place for small monetary things from the cops.Will go there firstand if not Confused
