When you speak of this, I really find something strange regarding SBS Transit's press release in July 2012...While they say there will be 260 buses funded under BSEP Batch 2, currently there are already a total of 266 buses from BSEP Batch 2...so I suppose they will continue register for BSEP until 450 Citaros have been completed...there are still 72 Batch 2 Citaros left to be registered.

So is SBS6496P onwards considered BSEP Batch 3?

No...BSEP Batch 2 + Batch 2 = 450 buses (the batch of buses purchased by SBST in July 2012). There are around 380 buses registered as of now for these two batches.
