Can confirm that SBS6866E onwards are Batch 3 Citaros. Boarded SBS6866E and noticed some differences to the earlier Batch 1 and 2 buses.

Differences observed:
1. Identical patterned flooring throughout the bus (on Batch 1 and 2 the raised flooring uses a different pattern).

Also no DDU is installed. Gearbox is still a Voith and engine still sounds the same.

If this is true, it means that they stopped using the sprayed flooring for that portion. That sprayed flooring really looks untidy to me.

I had discussed with the users at SgWiki in relation to the Batch 3 matters; and it occurs to me that the VINs may not be a valid reason to differentiate but the interior difference is.

it all depend on how you wan to separate the batch..

either u take each order of SBST as one batch (i.e 300 buses= 1st batch, 450 buses =2nd batches and 250 buses= 3rd batches), or u want to separate it base on VIN/Internal configuration...

likewise, for the wrights, for batch 2, there is also different configuration...

personally, all regos from 6846 onwards are batch 3.. and for those with new configuartion, u might want to name it as Batch 3B instead...

Chassis numbers of SBS6860X - SBS6865H and SBS6866E onwards. Note the 20 kg unladen weight difference and big jump in the chassis number. This could very much be the Batch 3 Citaros.

SBS6772S (ARBP 123) whole interior using cool white (colour-wise) lighting instead of the regular warm white lighting... Not sure if LED or fluorescent tubes though, but should be the only unit with full cool white interior lighting. Correct me if this is also seen on the newer Citaros...
