How come SMRT is the one getting the Citaros when SBST is the one that need to maintain buses services after September because of buses going over to Go-Ahead?

SBS has buses going over to Go-Ahead, but don't forget that the SBS operating region becomes smaller, ie the number of buses SBS need will be lesser as compared to if they kept Pasir Ris and Punggol.

The other single decker model, MAN A22, got around 712 units. If Mercedes Citaro is 1k, then this means around 1,712 units in total. Should be enough for around 9.5 packages, considering each uses around 180 units of single decker.

SBS Transit is replacing Batch 1 and 2 Euro IV K230UBs with Batch 1 and 2 Euro V K230UBs that is due for de-registration in 2026 and 2027 for 160 & 170.

Since when there is A24 order?Those A95 is actually SMRT second order last time before the GCM kicks in..Now LTA taking over the purchase..But again what's the use when its only for SMRT usage?

Actually,Citaro can considered good bus along with other Euro buses...Its our LTA regulation that restricted the bus potential,I don't mind the 60kmh capped but please don't meddle with the bus 1st gear,Only make the buses feel worse.

Not forgetting 1691-1699 . So 1000-1071 n 1691-1699 are additional order? 1000 might be out though (might be from the initial SBST ordered batch)

seem like that LTA also bought additional 38 or 39 units of A22 if go by the rego range? 1738 onwards was registered separately. So the gap might be additional order ?
