nope, as long as the girl doesn't request the guy to be sweet,
insinuate that he should pay for her expenses or both of them go to
somewhere obviously romantic.
Speaking from personal experience, the line i draw to differentiate
platonic outing and dating is when the girl is angry with the guy
for not paying detailed attention to her mood and her appearance,
and she wants him to pamper her. As a guy, I never attempt to
pamper the girl or pay detailed attention to her because she isn't
my date. If she insinuates or complain, I will actually ignore her
for a few weeks and she stops whining about it. The point of a
friendly outing between 2 individuals is just enjoying the ease and
comfort of each other's company.
