Nessie SG Any slightest movement makes my skin feel very sore. Thought I was the brightest spark to have gone swimming in the early afternoon today. And after that, a reflection of myself in the mirror shows a red panther with terrible sunburn. I tried to sleep so i won't the burning sensation in my body but can't sleep. Anyone experienced this before? How long will it takes to heal?
the Bear SG of course.. use Vitamin E gel and aloe vera gel to cool.. there are some which contain both... use that for relief...
Xephone_xenon SG 2~3 days the burning sensation will go off like 70% liao. But still will have the mark. Then after a few more days, you can slowly pluck out and play with your dead skin. I rmb last time in class, the bball guys in my class whole day pluck their skin. Ask people help them pluck also
Spartans SG Haiz I also got sunburn last week when I was in Taiwan. On an offshore island to near TaiDong to be exact. Feaking hot in the day time. and I forgot to put sunblock. I was wearing scandal that day. At the end of the day when I saw my feet, I was a bit shocked. 2 very different colours. 1 light 1 dark. haiz...
Nessie SG Thanks everyone. I have totally forgotten about the consequences of the exposure to the strong sunlight. I was just so stupid. Now my body is so warm!
the Bear SG well, too late to do anything other than damage control.. keep moist.. try using the gel and cold creams too.. they seem to help cool you... i stole them from my sister when i last ended up with sunburn..
benthecow SG go newurbanmale at heeren to get the Vitamin E!!! Its only $1 or $2 but it works! They have the melon moisturiser which is good too!!! I suffer the same fate as u! Being much a swimmer, i dun take care and my skin got worst!! So u had better take of it!
Nessie SG My back is still very very red, especially my lower back. I have not seen anyone sunburn that red before. And these few nights, i can feel that my body is very warm. OMG, i have totally forgotten that i can't go swimming at anytime i like.
