if you're BF is older and really likes transformers.

the fanboy's toy is gonna cost you.

the cheap ones are the kind you buy for your kids.

duotiga83 SG

Got a lot of series 1….which 1 he likes most ah…...

I used to have Bumble bee and the blue colour one (forgot the name).

laoda99 SG

if the ones at toy r rus too expensive for u, then u better dun get him transformer toys. get him something else which he can use....or u make ur own?

kopiosatu SG

i'm only interested in binaltechs which are closest to their G1 form

everything else doesn't really cut it, not even the G1s.

but that's my own opinion on transformers toys

duotiga83 SG

for me..i can't help much...cos....see my siggy Mr. Green Embarassed

kopiosatu SG

all i'm waiting for is them to redo God Ginrai and Star Sabre in the Masterpiece series.

which should be a futile wait Laughing

yuko-ogura SG

hopefully u win.

kopiosatu SG

looking at the link

all i can say is.

if your BF really likees transformers and you really want to get him a nice toy.

you will need to fork out more than what you see at Toys R Us.

and the stuff u see at Toys R Us? at this stage, they are not worth buying.
maybe when the kids now become 30yrs old then the toys now might have value

duotiga83 SG

As for the movie edition….you can forget it…not very worth it…..

browniebaobao SG

TS, if i were you, i'll get a Transformer gigantic poster.

yuko-ogura SG

comic connection might have the answer.

kopiosatu SG

TS, just bring him to dinner. seriously.

Idle_King SG

Hmm if hes one of them transformer afficionados...

go to: http://www.toybin.org/list.php

after you select a toy(*must be 1984-1986 Version hor!!*)... go to eBay, et voila! Laughing

*If money is an issue dun go for the Big names like Optimus Prime/starscream, try the 1986 ones...cheaper than the 1984
some of them are pretty affordable... especially the smaller ones but may still be worth something in the future so its a gd investment.

The best you can get.
