Is your life moving too smoothly? Sometimes I think that
everything is going my way... and to my advantage...
Ignoring the background issues ( Some drunken father that always
throw useless tantrums around. ), ever since I was young, I have
gotten everything I wanted, every toy a child could ever have and
want. But since dunno when I started saving my pocket money to buy
my own stuff. Unlike other children that have to report to their
parents on what they're gonna buy and seek permission, I never had
to, as long as I save my own money I can buy whatever I wanted. And
unlike other children my pocket money is indeed for my own use
only, it doesn't include transport, clothes, food and other stuff.
Therefore, I always could get whatever I wanted.
During Primary School, I never studied for my entire 6 years. My
Primary School was rather competitive where students from the first
class would avoid children from the last class like crazy. For some
reasons, I passed all my subjects but was thrown to the last class.
Competition was damn high
within my school. But I managed to get in EM2 and got into a good
class after Primary 4. Then I managed to get straight As for PSLE
without studying and I was still playing video games the day before
exam.
Then during Secondary School, as usual, I didn't have the habit of
studying. I keep flunking and flunking, but somehow miraclously
again, I managed to get 56 / 100 overall for my Secondary 2 results
and got pushed to Secondary 3 Express, I almost had to repeat.
Phews. Then I continued slacking, till 1 month before O'Levels. I
only studied a little, but managed to get decent grades, not good
grades but decent enuff.
Then I went to Poly, before Poly I was always alone, I only had a
few good friends, so in Poly, I told myself, I wanted to be the
best, wanted to change and make many friends. And so I did, I
became to best in my class, and made many friends. I though I
changed, I though I became better. Until I went NS.
All my problems came back, how I seldom talk to people, how I lack
behind in some stuff. So I requested to see the phycharist, you can
say I chao keng, I don't mind, but I just can't see myself getting
dirtied. So now they are gonna post me to a place where I can do
something relevant to what I learned in Poly. Computers. Which is
what I wanted exactly. I always wanted to further my programming
skills, and now I can. Its amazing.
Of coz, there was ONE THING I couldn't get in my life... the girl I
like most... but thats about the only thing.
Is my life too smooth sailing?
