AndrewPKYap, I believe all these arguements you had with other
forumites are due to the part whereby your replies are misleading. And the emotes
that accompany it are not helping either. There is no sense of
seriousness and alot of double meaning in it.
Just take a look at the above reply. Your 'wondering' already
has elements of condemnation since you 'wonder' if the forumite's
intellect or 'academics' is below par to understand your comments.
The emotes are not helping as well with the rolling eyes giving a
sense of smuck, stuck up attitude implying all the more you stand
firm in your opinion and biased attention towards him.
If the person you are replying to knows you pretty well, then there
will not be so much tension as he/she knows you do not meant it
that way. However if the person do not know you so well, they can
think anything good or bad about you base on your comments and mode
of replies.
You may say its your opinion, however in other people's eyes they
do not mean the same thing.
