People have the sense of what is the right thing to do and what
is not to do.
Usually they have themselves as the yardstick.
Like, be good to me, and I will be good to you.
Do on to other as you would like others to do on to you.
This sense sometimes get swept aside by some emotions.
It can be anger, it sometimes can be happiness. People affected by
their emotions neglect to observe the most basic of social norms.
i.e. not to disturb others, not to hurt others, being mindful of
common property, being grateful.
Growing old means having gone through lots of time. And that
translate into the number of times that this emotion/response
characteristic is repeated. Which will determine if you will turn
out to be a cranky old man, or a mild mannered gentleman.
