u is at which lvl retain?if its retain at the first year of that sch then shldnt b a problem since the class is new for everyone...if its after the first year, coz most ppl haf their own clique le mah...its normal la...even if u go other sch oso same one..juz concentrate on ur own studies n work hard...

no friends?no big deal lah,if they look down on u just heck care lah.When u go to work then u know,sometimes it hard to distinguish who is your friend,who is your enemy, in my workplace.

I understand your feeling as I'm a retainee in Sec 3 at 2 years back.

Now, I'm a 'retainee' in Sec 4 due to a long study break from medical reasons.

There's classmates who look down at retainees, but look at the positive part. You're more matured than them. I'm 2 years older than my classmates and they start to respect me because I'm able to make wise decision and advise them on their problems.

You primary or secondary or other education level?Last time,I am in secondary also no much friends... like 2 or 3 only.... anyway you don't need friends to survive... and i think you can be more independent then those always depend on friends 1 Very Happy

there are surely people tat look down on retainees.frankly speaking, i m on of them. but when i became a retainee at jc, i have changed my perspective of retainees. they just din study and play whole day. well maybe for me i guess.
so what if u are a retainee? people look down on u, u just gotta prove to them tat u r better than them
regarding about getting to noe yr new classmates, well its easy. u just gotta be more open and as time passes, u will be great frens with them.

Retainee..means one more year only is it. Just tahan lor…maybe during projects the classmates will get to know you better. Best is just concentrate on your studies, and dun care the rest lor.
